New South Wales

Australia’s most populous state is jam-packed of places to see and things to do. Don’t miss visiting Sydney, the largest city in the country and home of the iconic Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House. But don’t stop with the big city – New South Wales has over 2000km of coastline to explore, with beautiful beaches and awe-inspiring clifftop walks. Relax in laid-back Byron Bay or spot dolphins in Jervis Bay. When you’re finished with the beach, head inland to hike through the Blue Mountains or take a road trip through the Hunter Valley.

Northern Territory

If you’re looking for adventure, the Top End in the place to find it. The Northern Territory offers amazing experiences and an invaluable insight into the culture of the indigenous people of Australia. Indulge your senses in Darwin, the capital of the state. Then head south to central Australia to visit Alice Springs and experience the wonder of Uluru. It’s impossible to visit this ancient place and not be in awe of our incredible country.


Queensland

The sunshine state isn’t called that for no reason – if you’re heading to Queensland, be sure to pack your sunscreen! This tropical paradise is a favourite holiday destination, and it’s no wonder why. With incredible beaches, perfect surfing breaks, tropical islands and the largest coral reef in the world, it’s easily one of the greatest places on earth. Check out the growing city of Brisbane, the glitz and glamour of the Gold Coast, and the peaceful tranquillity of the Sunshine Coast. Snorkel with sea turtles on the Great Barrier Reef, or head inland to explore the outback.

South Australia

Once a sleepier part of the country, South Australia has made a name for itself as one of the most exciting places in the country. Time your trip to coincide with the incredible Adelaide Fringe Festival, a long weekend of comedy, theatre, live entertainment and more. Take a trip to explore the wildlife on Kangaroo Island. And make sure you choose a designated driver for your visit to the legendary wineries of the Barossa Valley, where you can sip the afternoon away among the vines.

Tasmania

Make sure you don’t forget the island state when planning your Aussie adventure. Tasmania has some of the wildest regions in the country, with dense bushland, geological formations, and the cleanest air in the world. Visit Hobart and the Salamanca Market for local produce and wares, then explore the colonial history in Port Arthur. Get a dose of the weird and wonderful at the Museum of Old and New Art. Then marvel at the natural wonders of Cataract Gorge, Tasman Arch and Cradle Mountain.

Victoria

Tucked in the southeast corner of the country, Victoria might see unassuming. But this small state packs a big punch in terms of culture, sport, nature and more. Sip a coffee in the famous Melbourne laneways before exploring the amazing shopping, live music, theatre and art galleries that the city has to offer. Watch a game of AFL at the legendary Melbourne Cricket Ground. Then escape the city for a drive down the Great Ocean Road, with another breath-taking ocean view around every bend.

Western Australia

The state larger than many countries, Western Australia covers an incredible 10,000km of coastline. This diverse state offers you the vibrancy of the city, the thrill of the ocean, and the majesty of the outback all in one place. Explore the city of Perth, with its amazing parkland, gorgeous Swan River and centres of culture. Take a drive to the stunning Margaret River region, where you can sample some of the best wines and gourmet produce in the world, and surf some of the best waves. Then head north to discover the dramatic landscapes of Kalbarri and Karijini.
